NFL and Twitter Team to Create Emojis for the 2016 Season

Forget #epicfail the NFL and Twitter have uped the ante with a little exercise I like to refer to as #NFLNOPE,  #NFLShouldntHashtag, #SeriouslyNFL. The No Fun League has done it again. If there is a plausible way to leak the fun out of something the powers to be in the NFL offices will impersonate the Patriots and slowly deflate all the fun in the room.  Okay, ok that was a low blow but you and I both know the NFL is almost always guilty of Doing too Much. Go sit down, eat a few buffalo wings and watch the game. In other words stop messing with stuff that doesn’t need to be messed with. I know #hashtags are not a pertinent part of football, it is much more important for the refs to get the calls right, but I digress. Now that we have it Twitter hashtags they don’t need to be regulated by the No Fun League
Since the NFL decided life could not go on without having “official” hashtags and team emojis what was wrong with using the slogans and phrases the fans were already using? Who came up with this #hashtagmadness? Were they prosecuted? If not, why not?  I know some of you are thinking come on they can’t be that BAD. Fine judge this failure for yourself. On a scale from 1  a missed  tackle in a preseason game  to 10. I should’ve ran the ball in the Super Bowl this is at least a 5. Not quite Josh Brown only received a one game suspension for assaulting his wife numerous times failure but definitely more of a failure than a preseason exhibition.

New Orleans Saints . #Saints50 WHY WHY WHY it’s not the Saints 50th anniversary it’s not the NFL’s 50th anniversary what the heck does Saints50 have to do with #WHODAT the Bengals should be fined for copyright infringement for using #WhoDey but nope the NFL rewards the theft and then sticks the Saints with #Saints50 #sigh #fail 18.Baltimore Ravens . #RavensFlock Baltimore really? Is this #Ravensflock as in birds of a feather flock together? So is their way of saying birds of a feather flock together as in acquitted murderers, and  domestic violence offenders this is your squad? But if youre a repeat offender like Josh Brown this isn’t your squad because Brown is still playing. Yeah probably going to be on that ALL year or until he is suspended and is treated WORSE than Ray Rice since 20 incidences of domestic violence is worse than one EVEN if there is a video tape. Just my thoughts. I’m here all season. 3. Atlanta Falcons #RiseUp 19. San Diego Chargers #Chargers 4. Tampa Bay Bucs #SiegeTheDay 20.  Oakland Raiders. #RaiderNation 5. Dallas Cowboys #DallasCowboys this sums up the Cowgirls perfectly they couldn’t even be bothered to extend the effort to come up with a proper hashthag. Oooo way to think outside the box Dallas. Don’t break a sweat. 21. New England Patriots #Patriots so no fro #cheaters or #deflategate 6. Washington #HTTR I know this signifies Hail To The Redskins but every time I see I think Hater because in general that’s what Washington’s fans are – haters 22. Miami Dolphins #FinsUp 7. Philadelphia Eagles #FlyEaglesFly 23. Buffalo Bills . #GoBills 8. NY Giants #GiantsPride Um is there something you want to bring out of the closet, or get off your chest NY? I mean it’s fine be you. Detroit Lions #OnePride The Lions are a lot of things but the pride of Detroit isn’t one of them. I also wouldn’t go shouting from the roof tops about these sheep impersonating Lions. Seattle Seahawks #WeAre12 This isn’t awful but it isn’t great either. It took me a second to realize who #Weare12 referred to. In general I shouldn’t have to look up your hashtag to make sure my tweet find the right fan base. 29. Jacksonville Jaguars – #Jaguars whew way to step out on a limb Jacksonville 14. Los Angeles Rams . #MobSquad – I can’t see them having a large socialmedia fanbase jumping up and down to use any of their hashtags so – yeah it’s great. 30.  Tennesee Titans . #TitanUp hmmm this could lead to a lot of inappropriate suggestive dialogue so I’ll just let your mind wonder. 15. Arizona Cardinals #BeRedSeeRed This just sounds violent. At the very least it drums up images of the Shining and Redrum. What was wrong with #Birdgang? Let me guess the PC people were offended by gang – I can’t with these #Hashtags 31. Houston Texans – #WeAreTexans  Equally as bad if not worse than #DallasCowboys 16.
